Privacy Policy

Overview

Store Analytics by Audiosdroid (the “App”) provides analytics and reporting features for Shopify merchants. This Privacy Policy describes how merchant and store data are collected, used, and shared when you install and use the App in connection with your Shopify store.

Data we access

• Shop data (store name, domain, locale, plan, installed apps)
• Orders and line items (for sales and product performance reporting)
• Products and variants (for product analytics)
• Customers (for aggregated customer analytics)
• Webhooks and events related to the above

We access only the minimum scopes required to deliver the App's functionality. We do not sell or rent your data.

Data collection

We explicitly collect and process the following data from your Shopify store:

• Order data: Transaction details, order totals, line items, and timestamps for sales analytics and revenue reporting
• Customer data: Aggregated customer metrics (count, location) for demographic insights. We do not store individual customer names or contact details
• Product data: Product names, SKUs, prices, and inventory levels for product performance analytics
• Store metadata: Store name, domain, currency, timezone for proper data presentation

This data is collected and processed solely to provide analytics features within the App. We do not use this data for any other purpose, nor do we share it with third parties except as described in the "Data sharing" section below.

How we use data

• To compute and display analytics dashboards and reports inside your Shopify admin
• To improve the App’s reliability, performance, and user experience
• To provide support and troubleshoot issues you report

Data storage and retention

Where possible, the App reads data directly from Shopify on demand. If we store derived analytics or cached results, they are retained only as long as necessary to operate the App and improve performance. Upon uninstallation, we remove associated cached data within 30 days.

Data sharing

We do not share merchant data with third parties except:

• With service providers strictly necessary to operate the App (e.g., hosting and error monitoring) under confidentiality obligations; and
• When required by law or to respond to valid legal process.

Service providers (subprocessors)

• Vercel, Inc. — Application hosting and edge services
• Neon, Inc. — Managed PostgreSQL database
• Resend, Inc. — Transactional email delivery (for optional reports and support emails)

If you enable email reports, summary metrics are sent to the recipient address you configure in the app’s settings.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect data in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and audited.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. For Shopify data, you can also contact Shopify Support or review Shopify's Privacy Policy. Upon app uninstall, we delete associated data within 30 days; you may request expedited deletion via email.

GDPR compliance

Store Analytics by Audiosdroid is fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and EU data protection laws. As an EU-based company registered in Estonia, we process all data in accordance with GDPR requirements.

Your GDPR rights include:

• Right to access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
• Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Right to data portability: Request transfer of your data in machine-readable format
• Right to object: Object to processing of your data for specific purposes
• Right to restrict processing: Request limitation of data processing

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@audiosdroid.com. We will respond within 30 days as required by GDPR.

All customer data processing complies with GDPR mandatory webhooks including customer data requests, redaction requests, and shop deletion as per Shopify's requirements.

Cookies and tracking

This App uses cookies only for essential functionality:

• Session cookies: Required for authentication and maintaining your login session within the Shopify admin. These are strictly necessary cookies that cannot be disabled
• No tracking cookies: We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking technologies
• No cross-site tracking: We do not track your activity outside of the App

By using the App, you consent to the use of essential session cookies. No other cookies are used.
